Exvisu launches strategic indicators to accompany its lexical maps

Paris, March 9th, 2011 - Exvisu, the French company specialized in the strategic analysis of opinions on the Internet, announces new network indicators for its Exvisu global solution, Rezodience™, designed to make sense of vital network online data.

The Exvisu global solution automatically creates a lexical map. A lexical map Exvisu is a graphical map representation of large text data sets. For Instance, a node represents each of the 100 most commonly occurring words in this data set; the size of the node is proportional to the number of times the word appears in the entire data set. The links between nodes indicate that they are semantically connected, and the closer they are together, the stronger the connection.
“It possible to calculate the nodes of understanding and to identify how Internet influence converges between controversial themes and their authors,” comments Josiane Versini, Founder and CEO
of Exvisu.
Dr. Andrei Mogoutov, physicist, scientific director of Exvisu Lab, is specialised in methodology and data analysis for the social sciences and he is the designer of the method and analysis solution for the studies of controversies and the ideas of the network actor theory (with B. Latour/M.Callon).
With Exvisu, this method and solutions Rezodience™ can analyze data online for brand and products positioning on the network actors internet.
Having initially tested lexical maps in Montreal, Exvisu Lab is currently pursuing the development
of this innovative approach’s numerous applications. The next step ahead: adapting the Exvisu platform to Internet discussions in Japanese and Chinese.

About Exvisu

Exvisu provides companies with semantic analysis of Internet data social media. Our method offers our customers a real tool for brand positioning, corporate positioning and action, as well as strategic networking.

Just Say It, the corporate communications agency, and Exvisu, specialist in the analysis of strategic trends and opinions on the Web, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to help companies design strategies which address key Web-related issues and enable truly interactive communications with their customers.

Paris, November 19, 2010 – Just Say It, the corporate communications consultancy, and Exvisu, a specialist in analyzing strategic trends and opinions on the Web, have announced a strategic partnership and launched a unique offer to meet the challenges of strategic operations.

With today's development of the Web, managers are seeking ways to control and enhance their company's brand image, as well as to report changes in opinion to senior management. The challenge: to anticipate opinion and discussions—in blogs, social networks, and on the Web—which may help the company to stand out from the competition, and to find methods for mobilizing stakeholders (the company's various target audiences).

Just Say It™ and Exvisu™ have combined their expertise in order to offer analysis, provide communications consulting services, and enable a proactive approach to stakeholder interaction based on their knowledge of the areas of competitive debate.

Exvisu provides multilingual, multi-cultural semantic analysis enabling companies to identify opportunities and risks on both national and international levels, and thereby to anticipate communications requirements in order to mobilize offline and online key influencers (the media, experts, and analysts) as well as stakeholders.

Directly monitoring the Web is not new. But Exvisu's offer is unique because it captures ideas and opinions expressed on both a national and international level, using both a local and global approach. Just Say It has the know-how to leverage this knowledge and determine the best way to energize the company's stakeholders. The synergies of the partnership make it possible to provide pertinent recommendations and implement convincing, mixed online and offline strategies by dynamically measuring feedback.

Just Say It and Exvisu use a joint approach to help companies set up interactive communications and to fill the gaps in their communications and brand image management:

reduce risks related to opinion on products, brands, companies, and projects concerning social networks and the Web: the buzz, crises, the impact of competing products and services, never-ending competition

establish a competitive edge by observing and analyzing competing strategies (without bias or categorization: describing opinions as they are)

analyze the situation by applying both a global and local view of public opinion and driving factors

implement public relations strategies based on continuously updated knowledge of market opinion as reflected by the Web's ever-expanding mirror.

“One-dimensional communications are a thing of the past: conversing with, attracting, and convincing stakeholders now requires more contributory communications based on relationships, understanding of others, diversity, and cohabitation,” said Isabelle Jahn, CEO and founder of Just Say It. “Our synergies with Exvisu allow us to provide pertinent solutions for implementing both local and international online and offline strategies. Our partnership addresses the needs of companies seeking to use the Web in order to anticipate the resources required for their strategy for influencing opinion, and aiming to identify innovative methods for mobilizing their stakeholders.”

“Our solutions make it possible to listen to and understand the complexity of public opinion expressed on the Web”, said Josiane Versini, CEO and associate founder of Exvisu. “Companies must identify opinion within circles of influence, discover where key discussions are taking place, highlight opportunities, and reduce the risk of a crisis. But they also need a communications approach which manages the complexity of the Web and is able to combine creativity and action on both a local and international level. That is the reason behind our partnership with Just Say It.”

About Exvisu
Exvisu is a consultancy offering strategic analysis of social Web media for companies, brands, and institutions. We help customers harness the power of the Web in order to improve their performance, influence their reputation, make their projects more competitive, as well as anticipate related risks and opportunities. We do not ask questions in order to perform our analysis. Rather, we use our exclusive software to scan ideas and opinions expressed on the Web via every possible source: ordinary people, consumers, and citizens (using their real names or pseudonyms) as well as professionals, scientists, journalists, businesses, associations, NGOs, institutions, etc. Our proprietary Rezodience software provides strategic indicators combining the pertinence of qualitative analysis with the power of quantitative analysis. We offer a full-fledged tool for positioning brands, themes, talking points, and third parties within a competitive network. Exvisu uses two key methods to address the Web's challenges: war games (strategy and tactics in a competitive environment) and Web village management (knowledge and interaction with the villages of Web authors).
