WEB TEXT AND VIDEO ANALYSIS
Internet search engines set the stage for web data strategic analysis by presenting the web as a vast collection of text; in other words, as a worldwide, continuous conversation.
This approach strongly questions the established documentary order and imposes the web and particularly web 2.0 as new media that settle down unceremoniously among legacy medias. Every form of exchange merges here. Anyone can observe that a search engine request can bring up as many results as a book fragment, a press article, a simple posted comment, an answer archived in a list from a link to a social network, an encyclopaedic advertising section, a brand sales brochure, or a critical article about another brand on a blog. The query, formulated with a total freedom by the internet user, usually without hierarchy, enters the worldwide conversation by digging up texts, photos and videos about a specific theme. This cross-section of content is the product of a random, progressive process: we write, we text, we tweet, we photograph, we share links publicly and exchange contents via social network and hypertext link platforms. Exvisu uses a semi-quantitative approach to analyse heterogeneous data, in order to supply our customers with strategic positioning indicators focussed on the "paths" of Rézodience available to their own questions, interests and influence. This analysis identification process takes place via the lexical and semantic contents of discussions that have an impact on our customers and their business. |
