"From 2008 to 2010, I carried out research focussing on various types of musical blogs. For this purpose, the Rézodience method allowed us to measure — quantitatively and qualitatively — blog traffic and the resources blogs offered to visitors, giving us a better sense of these platforms’ activity. In fact, not only did using this software allow me to forge methods to better classify the materials I had collected during my sociological survey, it also put at my disposal a tool with which to analyse the web, a subject the social sciences will have to take increasingly into account in the years to come."
